G is for.... The Alphabet Photo Project

G is for Geese

There is a village pond near us that is a peaceful haven away from the speed of today's life.
We pop down there to feed the ducks, geese and seagulls some weekends, they are always eager and willing to eat!

These are young geese, friendly and quite docile, but we're always careful to watch out for Mother Goose, we've been chased by many of those over the years and they peck!

  1. What gorgeous geese - I agree though the big ones can be a bit fierce! Do you know what sort of geese they are? Most of the ones round here are Canada Geese. (Oh and you have reminded me I need to do my G - thank you! )

  7. Lovely photos. Can't say we're fans of geese here. Not helped by the slightly violent ones we had at our secondary school

I would need a giant lens to shot them as I am kinda of scared of birds up close.
